One tele conversation took place in the late evening on the thirteenth February 2006:
Me: Wei? Are you going home already?
Mr. Gecko: Nope. Going to buy your Valentine's Day pressie.
Me: Tell me what are you buying for me please??!!! Tell me lah!!!
*Several similar pestering pleas follow suit in rapid succession*
Mr. Gecko: *reluctantly* Still looking at a few shops. I am thinking of a small diamond necklace or ring for you...
Me: *dramtically* NNNNNOOOOO!!!! I no need no expensive jewellery please!!! And I only want ONE expensive diamond ring from you but only at the right time!!!! Dun buy the jewellery for me please please...
*pleaded several times*
Mr. Gecko: Woo~~ What you want then?
Me: mmm... you can buy some books for me. I will go choose.
Mr. Gecko: Huh............

Only for those who are interested to know, we had a nice dinner on Val's Day.
Mr. Gecko asked me to relate the story about how long we had to wait to be served at a particular Indonesian restaurant which was not even crowded in the first place. We eventually moved to another location for dinner. I see no point expanding the tangy flavors since I appreciate the loving notes more.

well my deary one.
Diamonds are never enough, if one can't get you THE ULTIMATE ONE, and still insist on getting you one tiny carat, just take it, eventually, the person will learn, and buy one after another, and perhaps, may even be an expert. By the time is "ripe" and there pops THE question, you'll eventually end up with THE ULTIMATE ONE. Got it! Just Take La!
