Old Times' Sake
I just had lunch with these 2 oldest friends in my life. We gals had known each other for more than 15 years (friends since P1)! Umm... though I admit there were occassional laspes of communications in between these years which can't be helped given the different directions in life each of us had chosen to live by.
Well, Tracy came back from Down Under to attend another friend's gala wedding and so conveniently contacted Weilin & I out for lunch. It sure feels good for me to know there are some friends you can always count on for some good old reminiscences time.
Just merely ten years' ago... I couldn't wait to grow up and exert my independence while going thru' those years of teenage angsts. I blamed largely my parents for everything. Not going to reveal much about those turbulent teen period because I'm lazy to relate and it's not the main topic here anyway. Nothing serious though, just mainly childish angsts. Now I know that then, I was trying to be cynical and world weary - too soon even for my own liking.

Flashbacks. I wish the friendships and sisterhoods forged then, were not the price I had to pay and only remains to me; reflections and memories of a gone period.
